The European Union Project Adviser was present at the 6th Monitoring Visit of the LIFE PAYT Project

The 6th Monitoring Visit to the LIFE PAYT Project took place on December 7, 2021. This visit was attended by Dr. Filipa Ferrão from the external monitoring team and the Project Adviser, from the European Union (CINEA), Dr. Cézar Seoánez.

Scheduled in advance, this meeting provided for a face-to-face visit to the demonstration site, in Condeixa-a-Nova. However, due to the evolution of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 in the municipality and in the country, the agenda had to be changed and, in the impossibility of carrying out the face-to-face visit, the meeting was held by videoconference.

In the meeting, each partner presented the development of the project using the presentation of a “Virtual Guided Tour”, which allowed us to understand in greater detail what was done in each of the locations.

The main impacts and results of the project were also discussed, both in terms of technical implementation in each demonstration site, and in terms of the possibility of replicability for other similar contexts. The regulatory and legislative issue was also addressed, as well as the way in which the LIFE PAYT project contributed to the discussion of this theme together with public and institutional entities with responsibilities in this matter.
