3rd edition of the Training Action in Home Composting took place on the 26th of June, in Aveiro

The 3rd edition of the Training Action in Home Composting took place on the 26th of June, in Bairro da Forca-Vouga, in Aveiro. The action had the participation of residents who live in houses and who received the compost kit. This third and last training action was recorded, so that it can be viewed by all who are interested in better understanding what this composting process consists of, sensitizing and empowering, in this way, not only the residents of Bairro da Forca-Vouga, like the general population. Training session for local elected representatives: “Waste Management and PAYT Tariff Systems”

At a time when national legal regulations impose the implementation of PAYT-type tariff systems by municipalities in the short/medium term, it is essential that decision-makers have sufficient tools that allow them to recognize the environmental and economic sustainability associated with this type systems in order to make informed decisions. In this context, the LIFEPAYT Project promoted, on the 24th of June 2021, a training session for local mayors, entitled “Waste Management and PAYT Tariff Systems”. Monitoring visit to the LIFE PAYT project in Condeixa-a-Nova

  The 3rd Monitoring Visit the Project LIFE PAYT held by the European Commission / EASME with the presence of Dr. Filipa Ferrão, took place on 6 and 7 June in Condeixa-a-Nova. The visit included a Technical Meeting which was presented the work carried out under the LIFE Project PAYT. 1st Edition – Training in Action Home composting

It took place on June 9 the first edition of the training action in Home Composting. The action had the audience residents of single-family houses of the Forca Vouga district, where the project LIFE PAYT is being implemented. The course was given by Eng. José Maria Valinhas who taught to produce organic compost with garden waste and the remains of food preparation. At the end of training, participants took home a kit composting and brochure about the composting process In a second edition of the training action on home composting, composting more kits will be distributed. Held the first meeting with the LIFE Monitoring Committee PAYT

Took place last January 29, the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee and Project Management Committee LIFE PAYT, which included the presence of organizations like the APA, CCDRC, ERSAR, ESGRA, ERSUC, LIPOR, Maiambiente, VALORSUL, Vitrus Environment, University of Aveiro and ZERO association.
